حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ،، ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ شَيْءٌ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ بِهِ أَجْرٌ، أَوْ كَفَّارَةٌ حَتَّى النَّكْبَةُ وَالشَّوْكَةُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whenever a Muslim is pricked by a thorn or afflicted by any hardship even less than that, it becomes an expiation for his sins.
