حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ (٢) الْجَوْنِيِّ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ، رَجُلٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ لِي جَارَيْنِ، (٣) فَإِلَى أَيِّهِمَا أُهْدِي؟ قَالَ: " إِلَى أَقْرَبِهِمَا مِنْكِ بَابًا " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she asked the Prophet (ﷺ), "If I have two neighbors, to whom should I send a gift?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "To the one whose door is closer to you."
