Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once a goat was given as a gift to Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) from somewhere. Both of us were fasting that day. She made me break my fast with it; she was her father's daughter. When the Prophet (ﷺ) came to us, we mentioned this to him. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Both of you should fast on another day in compensation for it.
