حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ جَحْشٍ، اسْتُحِيضَتْ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَهَا (٣) رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " بِالْغُسْلِ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ "، فَإِنْ كَانَتْ لَتَدْخُلُ الْمِرْكَنَ، مَمْلُوءً مَاءً فَتَغْمِسُ (٤) فِيهِ ثُمَّ تَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ، وَإِنَّ الدَّمَ لَعَالِيهِ (٥) فَتَخْرُجُ فَتُصَلِّي (٦)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once Zainab bint Jahsh came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and said that her menstrual bleeding continued constantly. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "During the days of menstruation, leave the prayers, then after that, perform ghusl (ritual bath) and do wudu (ablution) at the time of every prayer and offer the prayer, even if drops of blood fall on the mat."
