Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ " تُرَجِّلُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ، وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَيُنَاوِلُهَا رَأْسَهُ، وَهِيَ فِي حُجْرَتِهَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) would observe i'tikaf and would extend his head out from the mosque, and I would comb it while I was menstruating.
