Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ،، ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ " تُرَجِّلُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ يُنَاوِلُهَا رَأْسَهُ، وَهِيَ فِي حُجْرَتِهَا وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) would observe i'tikaf in the mosque and she would be in her chamber. The Prophet (ﷺ) would bring his head close to her and she would comb his hair.
