حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ، وَأَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ قَالَتْ: " " أَوَّلُ مَا اشْتَكَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي، ، بَيْتِ مَيْمُونَةَ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَ أَزْوَاجَهُ أَنْ يُمَرَّضَ فِي بَيْتِهَا، فَأَذِنَّ لَهُ قَالَتْ: فَخَرَجَ، وَيَدٌ عَلَى الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَيَدٌ (١) عَلَى رَجُلٍ آخَرَ، وَهُوَ يَخُطُّ بِرِجْلَيْهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ " " قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ: فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، فَقَالَ: أَتَدْرِي (٢) مَنِ الرَّجُلُ الْآخَرُ الَّذِي لَمْ تُسَمِّ عَائِشَةُ؟ هُوَ عَلِيٌّ وَلَكِنَّ عَائِشَةَ لَا تَطِيبُ لَهُ نَفْسًا (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the illness of the Prophet (ﷺ) began in the house of Maymunah. The Prophet (ﷺ) sought permission from his noble wives to spend the days of his illness in my house, and all of them granted permission. Thus, the Prophet (ﷺ) came out from there supported by Abbas and another man (according to the narrator, he was Ali, but Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) did not consider it necessary to mention his name). At that time, the blessed feet of the Prophet (ﷺ) were dragging on the ground as he walked.
