Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Saib once asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "I can only pray while sitting, so what is your opinion?" She replied, "I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say that the reward for praying while sitting is half of the reward for praying while standing."
