Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once, regarding the son of Zam'a's slave woman, Abd bin Zam'a and Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas brought their dispute to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ). Abd bin Zam'a said, "O Messenger of Allah! This is my brother, the son of my father's slave woman, and he was born on my father's bed." And Sa'd was saying, "My brother made a will to me that when you reach Makkah Mukarramah, take the son of Zam'a's slave woman into your custody because he is my son." The Prophet (ﷺ) looked at the child and saw a clear resemblance to Utbah. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Abd! This child is yours, stones are for the adulterer, and O Sawda! Observe veil from him."
