Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، قَالَ قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ تَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ، وَقَالَتْ: " إِنَّمَا " نَزَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ مَنْزِلًا أَسْمَحَ لِخُرُوجِهِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that staying at the place of "Abtah" is not a Sunnah, but the Prophet (peace be upon him) stayed there only because it was easier to depart from that side.
