English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that after the first revelation descended, the Prophet (ﷺ) returned to Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), and his heart was beating rapidly. As soon as he entered the house, he said, "Cover me with something." So the Prophet (ﷺ) was covered with a blanket. When this state ended, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Khadijah! I began to fear that some calamity might descend upon me." He said this twice. Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) replied, "Receive glad tidings! By Allah, Allah will never forsake you. You always speak the truth, maintain ties of kinship, bear the burdens of others, honor guests, and help people in matters of truth." After this, Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) took the Prophet (ﷺ) to Waraqah bin Nawfal. He had accepted Christianity and had become very old and blind, and had read the Gospel in Arabic. Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to him, "Uncle! Listen to your nephew." Waraqah asked the Prophet (ﷺ), "Nephew! What do you see?" The Prophet (ﷺ) described all the things he had seen. Waraqah said, "This is the same Namus (angel) who descended upon Musa (peace be upon him). Alas! If only I had strength at that time and I were alive when your people will expel you." The Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "Will these people expel me?" Waraqah said, "Yes! No one has ever come with a message like yours except that people showed enmity towards him. If I live to see your time, I will give you strong support."
