حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَفْلَحُ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: وَقَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ، ثُمَّ نَامَ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ، ثُمَّ اغْتَسَلَ وَصَامَ يَوْمَهُ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) spent the night in seclusion with one of his wives and slept while in a state requiring ghusl (ritual bath). When morning came, he performed ghusl and kept the fast for that day.
