Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to offer eleven rak‘ahs between ‘Isha and Fajr. He would say salam after every two rak‘ahs and would offer one rak‘ah as Witr. In the nawafil, he would perform such a long prostration that before he raised his head, any one of you could recite fifty verses. When the muezzin finished giving the first adhan, he would offer a brief prayer, then lie down on his right side until the muezzin would come and inform the Prophet (ﷺ) that it was time for prayer.
