Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُبَارَكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ (١) أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ أُمَّ بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَتْهُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ (٢) النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى مَا يُرِيبُهَا بَعْدَ الطُّهْرِ قَالَ: " إِنَّمَا هُوَ عِرْقٌ " أَوْ قَالَ: عُرُوقٌ (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said regarding the woman "who, after attaining purity from her menstrual period, sees something that puts her in doubt," that this is blood from a vein.
