حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْأَشْعَثِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْأَشْعَثِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ قَيْسٍ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Yahya ibn Zakariya ibn Abi Za'idah narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to me, from Salih al-Asadi, from al-Sha'bi, from Muhammad ibn al-Ash'ath, from Aisha, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the like of it. Abdullah said: Muhammad ibn al-Ash'ath means ibn Qays.
