حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، وَسُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: " كُنْتُ أَشْرَبُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ، ثُمَّ أُنَاوِلُهُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَيَضَعُ فَاهُ عَلَى مَوْضِعِ فِيَّ، وَكُنْتُ أَتَعَرَّقُ الْعَرَقَ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ، ثُمَّ أُنَاوِلُهُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيَضَعُ فَاهُ عَلَى مَوْضِعِ فِيَّ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes a vessel would be presented to the Prophet (ﷺ) while I was in my menstrual period, and I would drink from its water. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) would take it and place his mouth at the same spot where I had placed my mouth and drunk from. Similarly, I would take a bone and eat its meat, and the Prophet (ﷺ) would take it and place his mouth at the same spot where I had placed my mouth and eaten from.
