Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْحَيَّةُ فَاسِقَةٌ، وَالْعَقْرَبُ فَاسِقَةٌ، وَالْغُرَابُ فَاسِقٌ، وَالْفَأْرَةُ فَاسِقَةٌ " (١)
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The snake is a disobedient animal, likewise the scorpion, the crow, and the mouse are also disobedient.
