حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: " مَا ضَرَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَادِمًا قَطُّ، وَلَا امْرَأَةً، وَلَا ضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ شَيْئًا (٣) ، إِلَّا أَنْ يُجَاهِدَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) never hit any servant or any wife, and never struck anyone with his hand except when he was fighting in the way of Allah.
