Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا (٢) إِسْرَائِيلُ، وَشَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَا كَانَ الرِّفْقُ فِي شَيْءٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا زَانَهُ، وَلَا عُزِلَ عَنْهُ (٣) إِلَّا شَانَهُ " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Gentleness beautifies whatever it is found in, and when it is taken away from anything, it makes it ugly and defective.
