Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا كَهْمَسٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ: أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى؟ قَالَتْ: " لَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَجِيءَ مِنْ مَغِيبِهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I never saw the Prophet (ﷺ) performing the Duha prayer, except that when the Prophet (ﷺ) returned from a journey, he would offer two rak'ahs.
