حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: " لَمَّا قُبِضَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ يَمَانِيَةٍ بِيضٍ كُرْسُفٍ، يَعْنِي، قُطْنًا، قَالَتْ: لَيْسَ فِي كَفَنِهِ قَمِيصٌ، وَلَا عِمَامَةٌ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) was shrouded in three Sahuli garments, in which there was neither a shirt nor a turban.
