حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا أَصَابَ الْمُؤْمِنَ شَوْكَةٌ، فَمَا فَوْقَهَا، تَعْنِي، إِلَّا كَانَ كَفَّارَةً لَهُ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whenever a Muslim is pricked by a thorn or suffers any affliction even less than that, it becomes an expiation for his sins.
