حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُصَلِّي وَأَنِّي لَمُعْتَرِضَةٌ (٢) عَلَى السَّرِيرِ بَيْنَهُ، وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ، قُلْتُ: أَبَيْنَهُمَا جُدُرُ الْمَسْجِدِ؟ قَالَتْ: لَا فِي الْبَيْتِ إِلَى جُدُرِهِ " (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes when the Prophet (ﷺ) would pray at night, I would be lying between him and the Qiblah like a corpse.
