حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ، أَنَّ نَافِعًا، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " اقْتُلُوا الْوَزَغَ، فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَنْفُخُ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ النَّارَ " قَالَ وَكَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ تَقْتُلُهُنَّ (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Kill the lizard, because it used to blow on the fire of Ibrahim (peace be upon him) to ignite it." For this reason, Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) used to kill it.
