Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، لَبَّى حَتَّى رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to pause to breathe twice (when drinking).
