حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: " صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي خَمِيصَةٍ ذَاتِ عَلَمٍ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ قَالَ: " اذْهَبُوا بِهَذِهِ الْخَمِيصَةِ إِلَى أَبِي جَهْمٍ، وَائِتُونِي بِأَنْبِجَانِيَّةٍ (١) ، فَإِنَّهَا أَلْهَتْنِي آنِفًا عَنْ صَلَاتِي " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) prayed in a cloak which had patterns on it. After finishing the prayer, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Its patterns distracted me, so take this cloak to Abu Juham and bring me a plain cloak."
