حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ " أَعْتَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى نَادَاهُ عُمَرُ، فَقَالَ (١) : الصَّلَاةَ نَامَ النِّسَاءُ وَالصِّبْيَانُ، قَالَتْ (٢) : فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: " مَا يَنْتَظِرُهَا (٣) أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْأَدْيَانِ غَيْرُكُمْ " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) delayed the Isha prayer until Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with him) called out, saying that the women and children have fallen asleep. Thereupon, the Prophet (ﷺ) came out and said: "There is no one among the people of the earth at this time who is performing this prayer except you, and at this time, no one except the people of Madinah is performing this prayer."
