حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُصَلِّي بِاللَّيْلِ وَأَنَا مُعْتَرِضَةٌ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُوتِرَ أَيْقَظَنِي فَأَوْتَرْتُ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes when the Prophet (ﷺ) would pray at night, I would be lying between him and the Qiblah, and when he wanted to pray Witr, he would wake me up and I would also pray Witr.
