حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ الْحَارِثِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ: بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَبْدَأُ إِذَا دَخَلَ بَيْتَهُ؟ قَالَتْ: " بِالسِّوَاكِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
Shurayh says that I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "What was the first thing the Prophet (ﷺ) would do after entering the house?" She replied, "He would use the miswak (tooth-stick)."
