حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، أَخْبَرَنِي سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " كُلُّ شَرْطٍ لَيْسَ فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، فَهُوَ مَرْدُودٌ، وَإِنْ اشْتَرَطُوا مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Every condition that is not found in the Book of Allah will be unacceptable, even if it is stipulated a hundred times.
