Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَمْروِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُنَا إِذَا كَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا حَائِضًا أَنْ تَتَّزِرَ، ثُمَّ تَدْخُلَ مَعَهُ فِي لِحَافِهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) instructed me, I would tie my lower garment even though I was menstruating, then the Prophet (ﷺ) would place his body against mine.
