حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ،، ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " قَدْ خَيَّرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاخْتَرْنَاهُ، فَلَمْ يَعُدَّ ذَلِكَ طَلَاقًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) gave us the choice to stay with him or to choose the world. We chose the Prophet (ﷺ), so the Prophet (ﷺ) did not consider it as any divorce upon us.
