Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ، قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، يَزْعُمُ (١) أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ: أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، أَخْبَرَتْهُ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَدْخُلْ عَلَيْهَا قَطُّ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلَّا رَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Urwah bin Zubair (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) told me: Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) came to me after Asr, he would definitely perform two rak'ahs.
