حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ،، ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " وَاللهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُومُ عَلَى بَابِ حُجْرَتِي، وَالْحَبَشَةُ يَلْعَبُونَ بِالْحِرَابِ، وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتُرُنِي بِرِدَائِهِ لِأَنْظُرَ إِلَى لَعِبِهِمْ مِنْ بَيْنِ أُذُنِهِ وَعَاتِقِهِ، ثُمَّ يَقُومُ مِنْ أَجْلِي، حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَنَا الَّتِي أَنْصَرِفُ "، فَاقْدُرُوا قَدْرَ الْجَارِيَةِ الْحَدِيثَةِ السِّنِّ، الْحَرِيصَةِ عَلَى اللهْوِ (١)،
Translation
English translation
Narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that, by Allah, I have seen the time when the Prophet (ﷺ) was standing at the door of my chamber and the Abyssinians were performing feats in the courtyard. The Prophet (ﷺ) began to shield me with his cloak so that I could watch their feats. I had placed my head between his ears and shoulder, and he kept standing because of me until I myself turned away. Now you can estimate how much a young girl would be inclined towards play and amusement.
