حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ابْنَةِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، هَلْ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ مِنْ جِهَادٍ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، عَلَيْهِنَّ جِهَادٌ لَا قِتَالَ فِيهِ: الْحَجُّ وَالْعُمْرَةُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Is jihad also obligatory upon women?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Yes! There is a jihad obligatory upon them in which there is no fighting, that is, Hajj and Umrah."
