حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْقَاسِمَ، يُحَدِّثُ: عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولُ اللهِ (١) : مَا أَرَى صَفِيَّةَ إِلَّا حَابِسَتُنَا. قَالَ: " أَوَ لَمْ تَكُنْ أَفَاضَتْ؟ " قَالَتْ: بَلَى. قَالَ: " فَلَا حَبْسَ عَلَيْكِ " فَنَفَرَ بِهَا (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that after the Tawaf al-Ziyarah, Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) began her menstruation. This was mentioned to the Prophet (ﷺ), so the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Will this prevent us?" I said, "She began menstruating after the Tawaf al-Ziyarah." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Then she should depart," or he said, "Then not."
