حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً، وَكَانَ يُوتِرُ بِخَمْسِ سَجَدَاتٍ لَا يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُنَّ حَتَّى يَجْلِسَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ، ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to pray thirteen rak'ahs at night and would make witr on the fifth pair. He would not sit between them, but would sit at the end and say salam.
