حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ: أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ مِنْ أَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ، فَذَكَرَتْ شَيْئًا قَلِيلًا، فَقَالَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَعْطِي وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعَى عَلَيْكِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once a beggar asked her for something, so she told the servant, and he brought something. On this occasion, the Prophet (ﷺ) said to her: "O Aisha! Do not give by counting, otherwise Allah will also count for you."
