Musnad Ahmad Hadith 25258

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said during his final illness: "Order Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer." Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! Abu Bakr is a soft-hearted man; he will not be able to control his tears and the people will not be able to hear his voice." But the Prophet (ﷺ) again said, "Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer." When I repeated (my request), the Prophet (ﷺ) gave the same order and said, "You are like the women who were infatuated with Yusuf (Joseph) (who concealed something in their hearts and expressed something else with their tongues)."
