Translation

English translation

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) once said to Urwah, "Are you not astonished at Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him)? He came and sat near my chamber and began narrating hadiths from the Prophet (ﷺ), and his voice kept reaching my ears while I was performing voluntary prayers. He left before I finished my prayers. If I had found him in his place, I would certainly have refuted him and explained to him, because the Prophet (ﷺ) did not narrate hadiths in the manner that you narrate."
