حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَهِيِّ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ؟ قَالَ: " الْقَرْنُ الَّذِي (٢) أَنَا فِيهِ، ثُمَّ الثَّانِي، ثُمَّ الثَّالِثُ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a man asked the Prophet (ﷺ), "Who is the best of people?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "The era in which I am, then the next, and then the third."
