Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلِيمُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، سَجَدَ فِي ص " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out on (the day of Eid al) Fitr and he did not offer any prayer before or after it, then he went to the women, accompanied by Bilal, and started saying, "Give in charity." And the women started throwing earrings and necklaces.
