Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ، فِي تَاسِعَةٍ تَبْقَى، أَوْ سَابِعَةٍ تَبْقَى، أَوْ خَامِسَةٍ تَبْقَى " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Do not take any animate being as a target."
