Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَّهُ: يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ الْكَلْبُ الْأَسْوَدُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ الْحَائِضُ، قَالَ عَطَاءٌ: حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ: أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى وَهِيَ مُعْتَرِضَةٌ (١) بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، وَقَالَ: " أَلَيْسَ هُنَّ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ وَأَخَوَاتِكُمْ وَعَمَّاتِكُمْ؟ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes when the Prophet (ﷺ) would pray at night, I would be lying in front of him and he would say: "Are these not your mothers, sisters, and maternal aunts?"
