حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " تُزَوَّجُ الْمَرْأَةُ لِثَلَاثٍ: لِمَالِهَا وَجَمَالِهَا وَدِينِهَا، فَعَلَيْكَ بِذَاتِ الدِّينِ تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكَ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: A woman is married for three reasons: for her wealth, for her beauty, and for her religion. May Allah bless you, give preference to the one who has religion.
