English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) had two garments from Oman which were very coarse. She once said that both these garments are very coarse, and when they get wet, they become even heavier. Such-and-such a man has received some garments; send someone to him so that he may sell you two garments, and you will pay him when you have the means. The Prophet (ﷺ) sent a man to him. He said, "I know what Muhammad (ﷺ) intends; he wants to take my garments and not give me my dirhams." When the Prophet (ﷺ) learned of this, he said, "He has spoken wrongly. He knows that I am the most God-fearing among them, the most truthful in speech, and the best in fulfilling trusts."
