Translation

English translation

Thumamah bin Hazn says that once I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about nabidh, so she called an Abyssinian slave-girl and said, "Ask her, she used to prepare nabidh for the Prophet (ﷺ)." She said, "I used to prepare nabidh for the Prophet (ﷺ) at night in a waterskin, tie its mouth, and hang it up. When morning came, the Prophet (ﷺ) would drink from it."
