حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنَ الْأَحْزَابِ، دَخَلَ الْمُغْتَسَلَ لِيَغْتَسِلَ، فَجَاءَ (٢) جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام، فَقَالَ: أَوَقَدْ وَضَعْتُمُ السِّلَاحَ، مَا وَضَعْنَا أَسْلِحَتَنَا بَعْدُ، انْهَدْ إِلَى بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ "، فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: " كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام، مِنْ خَلَلِ (٣) الْبَابِ قَدْ عَصَبَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الْغُبَارِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) returned from the Battle of the Trench and took off his armor to bathe, Jibreel (peace be upon him) appeared and said, "Have you put down your weapons? By Allah, I have not yet put down my weapons. You should proceed towards Banu Qurayza." Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says, "That scene is still before my eyes, that Jibreel (peace be upon him) was visible in the middle of the door and there was dust on his head."
