حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَرِهَ الصَّلَاةَ فِي مَلَاحِفِ النِّسَاءِ "، قَالَ قَتَادَةُ: وَحَدَّثَنِي إِمَّا قَالَ: كَثِيرٌ، وَإِمَّا قَالَ: عَبْدُ رَبِّهِ، شَكَّ هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ أَبِي عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى وَعَلَيْهِ مِرْطٌ مِنْ صُوفٍ، ، لِعَائِشَةَ، عَلَيْهَا بَعْضُهُ، وَعَلَيْهِ بَعْضُهُ (١)،
Translation
English translation
Imam Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the Prophet (ﷺ) disliked praying in the blanket of women. It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes when the Prophet (ﷺ) would wake up at night and pray, one corner of the blanket would be over the Prophet (ﷺ) and the other corner over Aisha, and the Prophet (ﷺ) would continue to pray.
