حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُمَحِيُّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " لَا يَبْقَى بَعْدِي مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ شَيْءٌ، (٢) إِلَّا الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ "، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَا الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ؟ قَالَ: " الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ، يَرَاهَا الرَّجُلُ، أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ "،، ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ: وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ مِنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ، حَدَّثَنَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، أَمْلَاهُ عَلَيْنَا إِمْلَاءً، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُمَحِيُّ مِثْلَهُ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: After me, no part of prophethood will remain, except for glad tidings. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by glad tidings?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Good dreams which a person sees for himself or someone else sees for him.
